In our online wanderings, we sometimes find interesting videos and we felt this one was too good not to share.
Check out this neat video from National Geographic:
Theoretical physicist David Kaplan visits The Z Corporation to have a look at a new technology that allows us to “print” tangible products that you can hold in your hand.
The technology uses a powdered resin that is bonded together by fluid as it’s coming out of the printer.
The applications for this kind of technology are limitless. Wasteful manufacturing techniques may very soon become a thing of the past. People working in remote places could now simply print out items they need from a global database, rather than having to wait weeks or months for deliveries.
What a fascinating technology.
